Originally designed by Alvar Aalto in 1947, Fauteuil 45 returns to the collection to bring warmth and refinement to modern interiors. The chair’s lightweight design is enriched by artisanal details, all made from natural materials. The armrests come in a variety of options: they can be finished in pleated leather or rattan weave for an extra tactile experience; a leather weave offers a smooth, soft touch; or the armrests can simply be made from birch for a minimalist look. The Finnish birch frame can be upholstered in quilted leather for ultimate comfort, or in linen weave for a casual, relaxed feel.
